Regular LL.M. Program

I.        Students must meet the following conditions to complete the graduation requirements:

A.      Complete total of 32 credit hours.

B.      Complete the master’s thesis (not included in credit hours) and pass the degree examination.

II.      Course requirements:

B.      Students enrolled in the first two years may not take less than 3 credit hours or over 12 credit hours each semester. However, 2 credit hours will be allowed upon the approval of the Department Chair if the student got an excellent performance in last semester (score of each course taken is above 80 points).

C.       Those students have not taken or not passed the course of Economics for at least 3 credit hours are required to take at least 3 credit hours in Economics offered by the undergraduate programs of College of Business of FCU in the first year of master’s program or to take course in the summer vacation of Business of FCU before the master’s program upon the approval of the Department Chair. The 3 credit hours in Economics are not included in the credit hours to complete the graduation, nether in the 15 credit hours restriction for each semester.

D.      Conditions for taking courses of other masters’ programs:

1.       No more than 4 credit hours taken in each semester, and no more than 6 credit hours taken in the whole program.

2.       The courses taken must be close relative to the student’s thesis.

3.       The courses taken should be approved by student’s thesis advisor and the Department Chair. Any dispute happened should be resolved by the Program Committee of Department.

E.      Students will fail the course if he/she absent for 3 times totally or 2 times continuously in one semester except for the reasons of serious disease, serious accident, or other force majeure events.

 

 

 

 

LL.M. Program for non-law majors

I.  Students must meet the following conditions to complete the graduation requirements:

A.   Complete total of 74 credit hours (including 42 required credit hours).

B.        Complete the master’s thesis (not included in credit hours) and pass the degree examination.

B.            Students enrolled in the first two years may not take less than 3 credit hours or over 15 credit hours each semester. However, one more course or 2 credit hours will be allowed upon the approval of the Department Chair if the student got an excellent performance in last semester.

C.   Those students have not taken or not passed the course of Economics for at least 3 credit hours are required to take at least 3 credit hours in Economics offered by the undergraduate programs of College of Business of FCU in the first year of master’s program or to take course in the summer vacation of Business of FCU before the master’s program upon the approval of the Department Chair.
